The original Waldo is working correctly and in the process of backing up all data. Any changes you made to Waldo this week have been preserved.

Subject: (2nd follow up) **IT ALERT** MUST READ!! ACTION NEEDED!! Waldo possible data loss
Here is what is happening and what I would like you to do.
- Waldo is in a state where I can’t attempt recovery of services to let backups run. I would need to forcibly restart Waldo to attempt recovery and I hesitate to do that as Waldo may not recover and could go down 100%.
- I am restoring all Waldo data to a new server, but that data is only current up to 7pm last Monday. We have lots of data so that restore takes over 24 hours to complete.
- Keep working on Waldo but keep a copy of your new work in another location.
- If I can fix Waldo, I can get a current backup and capture file changes. That would be ideal.
- If I can’t fix Waldo, you will have to move copies of your new files to the new Waldo when it is ready.

Waldo is not backing up correctly. Last backup was Monday evening at 7pm. Any work you have done since then and moving forward is NOT being backed up. I cannot recover it at this time.
What you need to do. Please treat this as urgent.
- Any files you have created or changed since Monday at 7pm need to be saved somewhere else. Do not count on Waldo at this time.
- You can save to OneDrive, SharePoint or to your desktop. Work with your team
- You can have a copy on Waldo but you MUST have a copy somewhere else
- Waldo is currently functional and accessible, but I cannot guarantee any data changes after last Monday at 7pm
Again, this is any files that have been changed or created after Monday at 7pm.
The concern here is potential data loss. Current work is at risk as there isn’t a backup.
I am working to resolve the issue and will provide status updates.
